My Makeups for Travelling

December 13, 2014

Yuhuu!
Have you heard the jingle bells already?
Holiday is already around the corner!!
2014 will soon be ended and it's time to welcome the new year of 2015..

I will be travelling to five cities in Europe in this holiday and I am extremely excited! I still have to go to uni, however, as German universities just start their holidays on December 23. It is so pathetic! But, who cares as I would be off starting on December 18 :P

I am not a packing person. When it comes to pack stuffs for travelling I would end up with tons of tons things to bring. It's always a hard time for me to decide the best from the bests. If that makes sense? Especially, of course, in choosing which makeups to bring. Fortunately, I have done an extreme selection on my makeups before I went to Germany and consequently, I have already only few makeups here with me which hopefully would not really be long for me to select and narrow them down more to be brought with me while travelling.

It will be 2-week travelling and the starting point of course is in Munich, then I'll go to the east to the central Europe until finally enter the western Europe. Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam and of course I have to save the best for the last, Paris!! I'll be travelling with my sister and her boyfie. Yes, I might be a kinda mosquito, I know, but it does not matter! We will definitely have fun! :D

Alright alright I should stop get excited alone now and just go the makeups selection! I will show you my makeups that I have in Munich and what I have decided to bring with me for travelling.

I have three groups of makeup as you can see on the photos. Most of the eye makeups and other pencil-like makeups I place them in a container. I know it's so messy. I try to make it neater but it just goes back to its nature an hour later.

The second group is the standing ones; all my foundations, lipsticks and some lipglosses. On the left, I have my compact makeups; powder, bronzer, highlighter, blush on and two empty little bottles. And someone is just too big so that it has to be apart from the others, my best eyeshadow palette, Naked 2.

After around 20 minutes. I successfully came with these selected ones.

Face department:
Face primer from Make Up For Ever, Translucent Powder from NARS, Bronzer NYC,
Touche Éclat from YSL, Rimmer Blush on, YSL foundation

Eyes Department:
Naked 2 palette, Shu Uemura lash curler, NYX brow pencil in grey, Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kajal in bronze, Etude Eye prime, Australis transparent brow gel, Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner, Etude Proof 10 Auto pencil in black, Chanel Inimitable Mascara

Lippies:
(Le-Ri) YSL , YSL 52, Catrice Shine lipgloss, P2 Maroon lipstick, Maybelline color drama lip pencil,
Lime Crime hot red lipstick, NYX lip cream, NYX Lip liner pencil 813.
They complement each other so I have to bring them all together.

I prefer to use transparent makeup bag as it can make me easier to look for stuff that I want even if it's placed beneath the other items. This bag is so cheap. I bought it in Naughty (a girly shop in Indonesia) for just Rp12,000.00 (less than 1 Euro, ~AUD 1, ~USD 1). Well, now I kinda miss that shop. I often go to that shop just to find cheap containers and bags for my small stuffs. They are actually a pretty good shop if you want to find cheap stuffs like hair pins, contact lenses container, etc. If you are patient enough to explore the store you might be able to find cute stuffs.

Travelling also means I have to get to buy mini mini mini version of products. Do they have this small toothpaste in Indonesia special for travelling? Of course, hotels prepare all the toiletries but I just prefer to use my own. And look at the Batiste one, omg! I will definitely need dry shampoo while travelling to get rid of oily hair.

I still have to pack the clothes and other personal stuffs, such as vitamin, shampoo, soap, etc. It's winter in Europe so I do not want to let my body drop as travelling can be so exhausted. So, I have to bring my vitamin C and of course some Tolak Angin (oh yeah, orang pintar minum Tolak Angin!).

The challenge part is that I will travel by trains and buses so I have to make my stuffs fit in small luggage and a backpack.

I can't wait to share the beauty of the cities on Instagram! I only feel like when I feel grateful because of something that I see or experience, I have to share it on social network to my beloved ones or people who are in my circle as it just makes me feel better. Well, sharing is caring, right? :)

Well, it's been 22:25 now. I have to do my laundry tomorrow morning at 6 just to make sure I have chance to occupy one of the machines!! They only provide 8 washing machines and THREE dryers for about 150ish rooms and I believe this building is full house. Oh well...

Anyway, let me say this to you early:

HAPPY HOLIDAY!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015!!!
May you have fun this holiday
and don't forget to make the last couples of days in 2014 memorable <3
