Chanel's Inimitable Waterproof Mascara has almost the same brush with Benefit's They're Real mascara (with spikes brushes). But, I personally think that Benefit's one's brushes cannot really reach and cover each of my thin lashes, might be caused by the too-big spikes? I'm not really sure too but the benefit mascara is not really working for me. It might work best on people who have thick and long lashes which most Asian people, including me, do not own. Chanel's Inimitable Waterproof mascara's brushes do well on my lashes as the brushes are full (kinda have almost no space between each spike - if that makes sense). They even have a range of funky colour; blue, yellow, blue turquoise and obviously black or noir.



I just bought this mascara in Changi Airport Duty Free for around S$37 (~IDR 335.200). I also bought its Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in beige for approximately S$62 (~IDR 595.200). The prices were cheaper than those in Takashimaya Orchard. They sold the Vitalumiere foundation for S$78 (~IDR 748,800). Few days ago, I was in a cruise called Royal Caribbean and they also had a cosmetics shop and the foundation was sold at US$41 (~IDR 512.500). I was about to buy there but they ran out of stock. Sad thing.

Looking at the price, I realise that Chanel mascara's price is almost the same with Benefit's one. Another proof that a popular item might not work for ALL people. Be clever to not get fooled by cosmetics' price and brand. It is okay sometimes to get picky with cosmetics because you are the ONLY one who knows your skin and face type :)
